8 Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description The Nurse Manager works with the Director of Nursing to provide oversite and support of primary care nursing & clinical services.
This position works to further develop and expand the role of the nurse and primary care clinical services.
The Nurse Manger is also responsible for vaccine programs, laboratory, and quality assurance.
CommuniCare Health Centers (CCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center providing comprehensive patient-centered primary care services including medical, dental, substance abuse treatment, behavioral health and outreach services to the low income, multi-ethnic, uninsured and underinsured in the communities we serve.
HOURS/SITE:
40 hours per week at CommuniCare Health Centers administrative offices in Davis.
Travel to other sites and some evening hours required.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manages Registered Nurses (RNs) at all health centers and supports the vaccination/employee health programs of CommuniCare.
Supervises Vaccine Coordinator and Employee Health LVN.
Responsible for evaluating and supervising nurse clinical care performance and efficiency in compliance with CCHCs policies and procedures Responsible for hiring and training nurses across all 4 Primary Care sites & satellite sites.
Responsible for evaluating and supervising nurse clinical care performance and efficiency in compliance with CCHCs policies and procedures Develops policies, procedures, and workflows.
Provides direct RN nursing support in all care teams at all health centers as needed and ensures adequate cross training so that RNs may cover all RN responsibilities as needed.
Resolves conflicts in a timely and professional manner; utilizes verbal and written communication that enhances team effort and growth and evaluates, counsels, and promotes professional growth and development.
Oversees the RNs work schedules to ensure proper workflow and reviews, approves/denies requests for vacation or continuing education.
Schedules and facilitates weekly staff meetings and maintains accurate records for all meetings (including sign-in sheet) and storing in a place accessible to all staff.
Responsible in providing in-service and training to staff where appropriate; creates an environment of collaboration between MAs and RNs where work coordination requires a more team-oriented approach.
Oversees and develops medical assistant competencies for onboarding and annual training.
Assures nursing staff complies with safety and health policies and procedures of the health center; reviews infection control procedures and ensures they are in place.
Schedules, trains, and supervises nursing student rotation or clinical experiences CommuniCare.
Attends staff meetings and management team meetings and contributes actively to discussions.
Actively support QI initiatives and embeds nursing in all clinical workflows as appropriate.
Understands and connects with the strategic priorities of the organization and bringing the nursing team into the care team as part of a cohesive patient-centered medical home model.
Meets regularly with different departments, teams, staff to develop goals, introduce new services, training purposes and introduction of new systems.
Has a strong advocacy for patient care, patients first principles and embodies these through the nursing workforce and workflows.
Promotes, by personal example, a standard of teamwork, cooperation, and positive workplace practices among all staff and components of the clinic site.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Completion of registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing; Bachelors Degree in nursing preferred.
Current RN license required.
Current CPR card.
Experience/Skills:
5 years of progressive work experience in a healthcare setting, ambulatory or outpatient or related field preferred.
Supervisory experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) language preferred.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required; must have ability to work with a diverse population.
Strong computer skills; electronic health record system required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

COMPLETED COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIRED PAY RATE:
The pay range for this position is $102,800/yr.
-$152,100/yr.
Starting pay within this range will vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
May be eligible for annual 2%
0-2% merit-based pay adjustment (0-4%).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
