Job Description:
Provide a high-quality food and bar service for on/off-site events (i.
e.
conferences, parties, celebrations, work lunches, etc.
)
Responsibilities:
Proper setup, execution, breakdown, and cleanup of each catered event Work efficiently with catering team Assist the Kitchen in ensuring food in transportation and delivery of food Assist the Kitchen in cleanliness and quality of food preparation.
Report directly to catering supervisor Coordinate and arrange the delivery presentation of food and alcohol Prepare and serve food & alcohol at events Communicate with catering team to ensure correct food & alcohol items Retain knowledge of all details of menu (ingredients and food allergens) Display sense of urgency Ensure food is properly stored at correct food temperatures Maintaining the appearance of tables and tableware SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma, GED, or minimum 1 year of experience in restaurant industry Valid CA Driver's License Excellent communication skills and customer service Food Handler & California Alcohol certification Ability to excel in fast-paced & busy environment Maintain clean, professional appearance Excellent physical condition and stamina ABILITY TO:
Ability to lift & carry up to 50 lbs or more Able to work weekends, special events, & holidays Work well in a team environment
