As a Facilities Manager at University Retirement Community, you'll lead our Maintenance team in ensuring efficient and effective completion of inspection, repairs and maintenance of community buildings and equipment.
Not only will you be responsible for keeping our campus operating smoothly, you'll be an integral part of our Facility Services leadership team by helping others develop their potential and building strong relationships with our residents.
We're focused on setting you up for success - 5 years of experience in managing a team responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, locksmithing, life safety and utility systems and/or general building repair will allow you to manage what really matters - providing top tier service to both our residents and your team.
HVAC and/or Metasys certification, as well as other formal education is a plus.
Wages:
$75,000 - $85,000 / yr DOE.

Mon - Fri; 8am - 4:
30pm What You'll Do:
Act as primary contact for Emergency Alert System and equipment; troubleshoot issues, oversee installation, conduct monthly Health Services audit and facilities repair and maintenance.
Coordinate and supervise the community security program.
Manage and monitor all access control systems.
Maintain fire life safety documentation and assist the Facility Services Director with developing the Emergency Operation Plan.
Supervise and direct daily testing, improvements, repairs, maintenance of the swimming pools and pool equipment to meet state standards.
Conduct routine inspections to maintain quality control.
Manage and supervise all department team members.
Organize and schedule team members so that routine work and special projects are completed effectively and efficiently.
Ensure all team members are trained in a consistent and effective training process/program.
Provide progressive performance management that includes timely team member appraisals, training, coaching, mentoring, and counseling, and support team members so they can be held accountable for abiding by all standardized practices, expectations, policies, and procedures set forth by you, your community, and PRS.
Adhere to all policies and procedures that ensure a high level of quality and customer service.
Approach all encounters with residents, guests, and co-workers in a gracious, attentive, and courteous manner.
Delegate all work requests as assigned and ensure appropriate documentation.
Maintain all required documentation and records for your departments.
Assist with the development and administering of the operating budget for your department.
Recommend capital purchases and improvements to the Facility Services Director.
Order, receive, and maintain inventories of all supplies, tools, and equipment.
Hire, schedule, and supervise all contracted services for your assigned departments.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
