To be eligible for consideration you must meet the definition of post secondary student as defined below:
Post-Secondary Student:
a person who, (1) is currently enrolled in, and in good academic standing at, a full-time program at an institution of higher education; and (2) is making satisfactory progress towards receipt of a baccalaureate or graduate degree; and (3) has completed at least one year of the program. In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). This opportunity follows a standard promotional path:
Internship selection will be made at the GS-04, GS-05, and GS-07. These grade levels are what typical college students in their 2nd year may qualify. Within 120 days after completion of Internship requirements, you may be eligible for conversion to a career-conditional appointment at the level you qualify for. The actual grade level at the time of conversion depends on academic achievement and other factors. The full performance level of this position is GS-12. Progression from the entry-level to the full performance level for this occupation will depend on successful completion of all requirements for promotion. Promotions may be considered after a year at each grade level, but are not guaranteed to occur on a specific time schedule. To qualify for a Post Secondary Student Internship as a GS-04 Students must have completed two full academic years of post-high school study or have an associate's degree in Engineering. To qualify for a Post Secondary Student Internship as a GS-05 Students must have completed 4 academic years of post-high school leading to a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree. NOTE:
Students that are graduating and are not subsequently enrolled in another program might not meet the work-hour requirements prior to graduation and will be at risk for not being able to convert to a career or career-conditional appointment To Qualify for a Post Secondary Student Internship as a GS-07 One full years of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of a position, such as:
civil engineering Or Superior Academic Achievement (SAA). In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above. Superior Academic Achievement is based on:
(1) Class Standing - Applicants must be in the upper third of the graduating class in the college, university, or major subdivision, such as the College of Liberal Arts or the School of Business Administration, based on completed courses; OR(2) Grade-Point Average (G.P.A.) - Applicants must have a grade-point average of either (a) 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 (B or better) as recorded on your official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or (b) 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 (B+ or better) based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field or the required courses in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum.; OR(3) Honor Society Membership - Applicants may be considered eligible based on membership in one of the approved national scholastic honor societies listed by the Association of College Honor Societies (https:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
